I'd love to invite you all to a show, if ya got time for a story? 😉 

 

On the 25th of July we will be performing a new original live music show, and it will be the first time a band has played in the new Twyford Theatre. 

 

Writing/recording songs and performing them has always been my favourite corner of the entertainment/music industry, and I've spent a fair bit of time in lots of different corners.

Now it feels like the right time to go back to what started the fire to begin with, and I can't wait to share these songs with you all. 

 

Joining me onstage is Mitch Broadhead on the drums and Barney Briggs on the electric bass and double bass. 

And a special new addition to the line-up is two of my best students from Merimbula School Of Music - Jeremy Koenigkamp on electric guitar and Sam West on acoustic guitar. I started MSOM in 2014, so they are both a similar age now to what I was when I was teaching them! 

 

We recently released a new original album on the winter solstice - Richard Charles 'Ya Got Time For a Story?', (only available here at www.richardcharles.music), which we started working on in October last year. 

 

The 25th of July will be our first gig out of the gate and the first time we've played this new show and songs live!
